Changelog

New providers, new features, and fixes. Latest: desktop 2.74, Credential Connector 1.12, Android 1.5. Settings → About shows the version you have installed.

Desktop

2.74.x

Included Claude credits and pinned-card expiry

  • Claude — the included Project Setup credit joins Cloud Session credits in the details view, each with its expiry.
  • Dashboard — credits that lapse show “Expires in” on pinned card metrics too.

2.73.x

Redesigned emails and sign-in fixes

  • New sign-in and confirmation emails with 6-digit code boxes that copy cleanly on phones; codes pasted from the email are accepted.
  • Redesigned weekly digest, payment-failed, and account-deleted emails.
  • Sign out completes even on slow or unreachable networks — the stored session is dropped locally.

2.72.x

Offline handling and pinned metrics

  • Dashboard — pin up to two metrics from the details view onto each provider card.
  • Offline — scheduled fetches are skipped, cards keep the last known usage, and the outage raises one alert instead of one per connection.
  • Settings — the Add Provider pill floats while scrolling the providers list, then docks at its bottom-right. Quick Import hides apps you already imported.
  • Sign-in accepts only 6-digit codes.

2.69.x – 2.70.x

Sign in with Kimi

  • Kimi — Sign in with Kimi (device login) on connect, onboarding, and reauthenticate; Vale gets its own renewing session so your kimi.ai browser session is never handed over.
  • Kimi — follows the kimi.ai rebrand, refreshes 15-minute web sessions, shows extra-usage balance and monthly cap, and shows how each connection was made instead of its token.
  • Credential Connector 1.12 — hands the kimi.ai session to Vale while keeping kimi.ai signed in; Vale Sign Out now signs out Zed and Cursor.
  • Quick Import stays usable once a provider is connected and detects the GitHub CLI for Copilot.

2.68.x

Faster, quieter refresh

  • Scheduled refresh fetches every connection at once, skips overlapping cycles, keeps partial results, and serves them to the dashboard without a second fetch.
  • Provider requests are bounded; timeouts and dropped connections get one quick retry and stop retrying hopeless errors. Stalled Supabase calls time out.
  • Notifications — judge remaining by unit, escalate at zero, report resets only when a window actually refills, alert once per outage, and flag expired sign-ins.
  • Free limit — explained in plain words with the upgrade dialog shown in place; re-saved connections no longer count against the cap.
  • Extension — Connect offered on every page a provider script runs on; Zed asks which organization to monitor.

2.63.x – 2.67.x

Claude resets, dashboard actions, Quick Import

  • Claude — usage-limit resets (banked reset credits), included Cloud Session credits, Pro plan detection, and a Free-plan state for accounts without metrics.
  • Dashboard — Add provider button in the toolbar; Edit and Remove actions in the provider details view.
  • Settings → Providers — split Add Provider button with an “Import from this device” menu for detected apps.
  • Billing hardening — Paymob renewals correlated only through signed data, invoices for every captured charge, trials end at the trial end, subscriptions cancelled on account deletion and lifetime grants.

2.59.58 – 2.62.x

macOS support, renewals, and dunning

  • macOS — native application menu, dock activation, login-item auto-launch, Retina menu bar icon, Keychain-backed imports for Claude Desktop and Antigravity; multi-arch DMG builds.
  • Titlebar style is auto-detected per platform and free on every plan (Mac style was Power-only).
  • Billing — Paymob subscription renewals fulfilled and invoiced, 7-day grace period with payment-failure emails, daily reconciliation, Paymob invoice history from the Orders API.
  • Antigravity free-tier accounts and z.ai credit-based limits are parsed; Claude Desktop import copes with a locked cookie database.

2.60.x

Dual payment providers and Billing polish

  • Checkout via Stripe or Paymob — Payment Provider setting with Auto (region), Stripe, or Paymob.
  • Vale-owned Power trial (15 days, no card) — trial start does not open a payment checkout.
  • Billing overview — update payment, cancel, invoices, and refresh status in Settings → Billing.
  • Missed-webhook reconciliation so entitlement catches up after checkout returns.

2.59.x

Compare, Activity, and charts

  • Compare page — renamed from History; overlay selected accounts on interactive charts.
  • Activity feed — chronological alerts and connection events with filters and manual refresh.
  • CSV export moved to Settings → History; weekly email digest stays a Power option there.
  • Provider-details charts with period selector and expanded view; ApexCharts across history views.
  • Onboarding, sidebar auto-compact, and extension install UX improvements.

2.53.x

About resources, settings search, and billing polish

  • Settings → About — version, Check for updates, provider API stability, and links to Docs, Troubleshooting, Feedback, and License.
  • Settings sidebar search and keyboard shortcuts help.
  • Billing — refresh status control; lifetime Power grants without a payment-portal link.

2.52.x

OpenRouter, Devin, Kimi, and Power billing

  • OpenRouter — stable credits API; extension or API key / cookie connect.
  • Devin — daily/weekly quotas and overage; extension connect from app.devin.ai.
  • Kimi (beta) — coding console quotas and rate limits; extension or API key.
  • Power plan — $6.99/mo or $59.99/yr, 15-day no-card trial.
  • Free tier — five active accounts; Power unlocks unlimited plus fast refresh and more.

Earlier 2.x

Antigravity, Copilot, Cursor, z.ai, and Credential Connector

  • Antigravity — Google OAuth / import in-app (not via the Credential Connector).
  • GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and z.ai — extension or manual credentials.
  • Credential Connector expanded beyond the original Windsurf / Claude / Codex / Zed set.
Android

Android 1.4.x

Background monitoring, Usage page, Billing

  • Background refresh on the period you choose, with system notifications for low quota, limit resets, and connection problems — the same alert rules as desktop.
  • Usage page replaces Compare — bar summary per account (Now, 24h, 7d, 30d), metrics, and history.
  • Billing page — membership card, cycle, plan details, and the 12 newest invoices; changes still happen on desktop.
  • New sign-in and code screens with autofill and paste; expired Kimi and Antigravity tokens renew on the phone.
  • Per-account history and activity in a local database; a different account never sees the previous one’s alerts.

Android 1.0 – 1.3

First companion releases

  • Sign in with the same Vale account; provider connections appear from desktop automatically.
  • Native usage fetching for every desktop provider, dashboard cards with progress, reset timers, and plan metadata.
  • Material 3 redesign ported from the Vale mobile design: dashboard, activity timeline, settings, floating tab bar.

Never get cut off mid-prompt again.
