The Vale desktop application, Vale Credential Connector browser extension, and the valeapp.app website (including their source code, design, documentation on this site, and branding) are proprietary. Except for rights we expressly grant in writing, or rights that cannot be excluded by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works of Vale.

Limited permission to use

If we provide you with access to Vale (including waitlist or early access builds), you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to install and use the software for your own personal or internal business monitoring, subject to the Terms of Use.

That permission does not include redistribution of installers, extension packages, or source, or use of Vale trademarks in a way that suggests endorsement without our prior written consent.

Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, or bug reports, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.

Third-party components

Vale may include open-source or third-party components under their own licenses (for example fonts under the SIL Open Font License, and libraries bundled with the app). Those licenses govern only those components. Nothing in this page changes their terms.

Provider names and logos (including Claude, Cursor, OpenRouter, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Windsurf, Devin, Kimi, Zed, z.ai, Antigravity, and others) are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify supported integrations.
