Agreement

By using the Vale desktop app, the Vale Credential Connector extension, the waitlist, paid plans, or the website at valeapp.app (together, “Vale”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Vale.

What Vale is

Vale is a desktop application for monitoring AI provider credits, quotas, and related usage in one place. An optional browser extension can send provider session material to the local app on localhost. Features may change during early access.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. Email sign-in is required to use the desktop app. You are responsible for the credentials you use and for activity under that account. Keep your sign-in details secure.

Waitlist and early access

Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, a particular ship date, or any specific feature set. We may invite users in stages, change eligibility, or close the waitlist. Download remains invite-only until we publish a public installer.

Plans, trials, and billing

Vale offers a Free tier and a paid Power plan (monthly or yearly), as described on Pricing and in the app. Prices and included features may change; the amounts shown at checkout control.

Eligible accounts may receive a time-limited Power trial (for example 15 days) without a card. One trial per email. When a trial ends, access returns to Free unless you subscribe.

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe or Paymob, depending on your Payment Provider preference and region. You can update payment methods, view invoices, or cancel renewal from Settings → Billing in the app. Cancellation stops future charges at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout. Complimentary or lifetime grants, if we issue them, are discretionary and may be revoked if abused.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Vale to violate provider terms, applicable law, or third-party rights
• Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload Vale infrastructure or other users’ systems
• Reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell Vale except as allowed by law or a written license from us
• Misrepresent affiliation with Vale or use our marks without permission

You are responsible for how you obtain and use provider credentials. Vale does not grant you rights to any third-party AI service.

Third-party services

Vale integrates with or connects to third-party providers (for example Claude, Cursor, OpenRouter, Copilot, and others listed in the docs). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, billing, or policy changes. Payment processing is provided by Stripe and/or Paymob under each processor’s terms.

Intellectual property

Vale, including the app, extension, website, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. See the License page for software license terms.

Disclaimer

Vale is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that monitoring data will be complete, continuous, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Vale. Our total liability for any claim relating to Vale is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Vale in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50).

Termination

You may stop using Vale at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimer, and limitation of liability) will survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
